SAILPAST – 2015

Time for all members to wear their blue & whites, and strut their boats!!

When: May 23rd
Where: Page’s Resort & Marina
Registration Starts at: 12:30 p.m.
BBQ – catered by Robert’s Place: 4:30 p.m. $20/person
(please bring your own chairs, dishes, cutlery, mugs and beverage)

• This year, Silva Bay Marina and Page’s Resort and Marina are offering discounted moorage for one night to members who wish to participate in sailpast and whose boats are moored outside of Silva Bay.  SBYC will also contribute 50% of the discounted one-night moorage cost.
  NOTE: Skippers must make their own reservations.  When you register be sure to tell the marina office you are an SBYC member and you are there for Sailpast!
• All skippers of participating boats will receive a commemorative Sailpast-2015 embroidered T-Shirt. T-Shirts for the rest of the crew and others can be ordered below at a cost of $10/ea.
• A photographer will be on hand to photograph each participating boat as they pass by and a copy of the photo will be emailed to the skipper.

Members Attending Sailpast Will Receive:

• 2015 SBYC Log Books
• A copy of the “BC Marine Parks Guide” (for each member who included a donation to the Marine Parks Forever Society in their 2015 membership renewal)
• Sponsor coupon package (available only at Sailpast) that will include promotions from our sponsors including Robert’s Place, Industrial Plastics and Harbour Chandler, to name a few

And There’s More!:

• Marine Garage Sale (details here) – We need your donations for a successful event.  Proceeds go club operations costs.
• Dockside demonstration by RCM•SAR of their Radio Directional Finder system that they were able to purchase entirely through SBYC’s donation, and their new Night Vision Goggles.  As well, they will be doing a Man Overboard Demonstration with Moe, the MOB test dummy!
• A 10% discount is being offered by Page’s Marina Store, including charts and books – for this day only!
