An extended cruise to explore some areas north of Vancouver Island.
Planned Itinerary
July 9th leave Gabriola
Planned stops: Secret Cove, VanAnda, Refuge Cove, Shoal Bay, Forward Harbour, Port Neville, Hansen Island.
July 18th arrive in Port Hardy and reprovision.
Depart Port Hardy July 19th for Calvert
July 20th Arrive at Calvert
July 20-22nd Visit beaches on Calvert and visit Hakai Institute research faciility
July 23rd Leave Calvert for other destinations to be determined by group at Calvert Island.
Aug 5th Arrive at Home port.
On burger night May 7th there will be a short slide presentation on anchorages for this cruise. In June we are planning a meeting to discuss provisioning for extended cruises, date to be announced.
