Ahoy Members & Visitors!
In the spirit of maritime camaraderie, I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you with a touch of salt water in your veins. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or cruiser, or just dipping your toes into the world of yachting, our SBYC bids you a hearty welcome.
Throughout the year, SBYC holds an array of activities designed to cater to every taste and preference. Events on the water range from leisurely local cruises in the Gulf Islands, to testing your seamanship in new anchorages, stern tying, and navigating through new waters. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the thrill of the ocean, however, our Yacht Club is a community, bound by shared experiences and a love for all things nautical. It’s a place where friendships are forged, stories are swapped, wrenches are borrowed, and ultimately a deep appreciation for the beauty of the ocean is nurtured. If that sounds appealing, the first step is to get involved.
As we chart our course each season, I encourage you to embrace the spirit of adventure, camaraderie, and respect for the sea that defines our club.
