“Both Dave and Ron attended the same Diesel engineering Course offered at Vancouver Community College and graduated 1977. This course was to prepare technicians for working on the Tugs.
Dave has a 4th class marine certification, heavy duty mechanics red seal and Diesel engine Certificate.
He has worked for Rivtow Straits, Pender Harbour Diesel, Crown Zellerbach, Apex Industrial Movers, Clark Freightways, Vancouver community college and BCIT as Mechanical instructor.
Ron has a Heavy duty mechanics red seal certificate, Diesel engine Certificate.
He worked for Cullen Detroit diesel/Allison, Finning as a mechanical instructor, BC Ferries, Kumtor mine in Kyrgyzstan, and finished his career working with Dave at Vancouver community college and BCIT as mechanical instructors”.
