Jordan Sorrenti was awarded an Honourary Life Membership for his outstanding contributions to the life of the club beginning in 2005. Jordan was a Vice Commodore, Commodore, Webmaster, Log Book editor and Anchorline editor. As he worked in these positions he never lost sight of the club’s number one mandate, “to have fun.” Jordan actively promoted both the social side and the business side of our club and succeeded in both areas. Jordan’s commitment of time and expertise, along with his social skills, significantly elevated the Silva Bay Yacht Club’s ability to deliver, even without a clubhouse, the attributes of much larger clubs and make us the best little yacht club on the coast. |
